The video below was made by Giampiero Tre Re and features a stunning ‘visual biography’ of Padre Pino. The soundtrack is Giampiero’s own composition, performed by him, called Ultima canzone per Laura (last song for Laura).
In the video still, you can see the anguish in the faces of Cardinal Salvatore Pappalardo and of the children at the front, clinging to him even in death, traumatised by the death of their friend and mentor.
